Free Rides to the Polls During Early Voting & Election Day

Parking and Transportation Services (PATS) is excited to share that the City of Arlington is making it easier than ever to participate in the upcoming election by offering free transportation options to voting locations.

Early Voting (April 20–28)

Arlington residents can take advantage of free rides on Arlington On-Demand and Handitran services during the early voting period.

  • Promo Code: APR26VOTE

  • Benefit: Covers one free round trip

  • Requirement: One end of each ride must be at one of the 6 designated early voting sites

  • Limit: One-time use per rider

Election Day (May 2)

On Election Day, expanded access is available to even more locations:

  • Promo Code: MAY26VOTE

  • Benefit: Covers one free round trip

  • Requirement: One end of each ride must be at one of the 28 voting sites

  • Limit: One-time use per rider

Available Services

  • Arlington On-Demand: Convenient, app-based rides within service zones

  • Handitran: Accessible transportation service for riders with qualifying needs

PATS encourages all students, faculty, and staff to take advantage of these services to make your voice heard. Whether you're heading to the polls between classes or after work, transportation shouldn’t be a barrier to civic participation.
